Arsenal fans plan December 2026 London trips

An Arsenal supporter’s post on X on September 8 set off a planning thread for a December 2026 trip to London built around two potential home matches: a Champions League game against Real Madrid and a Premier League match against Bournemouth. The post, from user GazAFC25, asked about travel timing, accommodation and whether other supporters were considering the same run of fixtures. Arsenal’s current fixture listings show a home game against Real Madrid on Wednesday, December 9, 2026, followed by a home league match against AFC Bournemouth on Saturday, December 12, 2026. Arsenal’s official fixtures page says dates and kick-off times are subject to change. ### Which matches are fans trying to build the trip around? ESPN’s 2026-27 fixture list for Arsenal shows the club scheduled to host Real Madrid on December 9 in the UEFA Champions League and Bournemouth on December 12 in the Premier League. (x.com) A Fox Sports match page also lists Arsenal versus Real Madrid on December 9, 2026. The appeal of that pairing is straightforward: both matches are listed at Emirates Stadium in London, giving traveling supporters a short gap between a midweek European night and a weekend league game. (espn.com) The X thread centered on whether that combination made a single December visit practical. ### Why did Real Madrid and Bournemouth come up together? December 9 and December 12 sit three days apart on the published schedule, which makes them the most obvious same-trip option for supporters looking to attend more than one home match. (espn.com) The social briefing tied the original post specifically to “Madrid at home vs. Bournemouth,” reflecting how fans were framing the plan online. Ents24 also lists Arsenal v Bournemouth at Emirates Stadium, adding a second public listing for that weekend fixture. (x.com) Arsenal’s own site carries the broader 2026/27 fixture calendar and ticketing information through its matches and ticket hub pages. ### What are supporters trying to coordinate? The September 8 thread focused on the mechanics of a football trip: when to arrive in London, where to stay, and how to line up match access if both fixtures go ahead as listed. (espn.com) The discussion described fans comparing plans for hotels, travel windows and ticket coordination rather than reacting to any club announcement. Arsenal’s official website says ticket purchases, digital ticketing and membership information are handled through the club’s ticket hub, while also warning that fixture dates can move. (ents24.com) That matters for supporters booking flights and hotels around a midweek-weekend sequence. ### How firm is the December schedule right now? Arsenal’s fixtures page states that dates and kick-off times are subject to change. That caveat is standard for English and European schedules, where broadcast selections, policing arrangements and competition administration can alter match timing. (x.com) ESPN’s schedule currently places Arsenal away to Brentford on December 2, away to Tottenham Hotspur on December 5, at home to Real Madrid on December 9 and at home to Bournemouth on December 12. (arsenal.com) For traveling fans, that makes the December 9-12 window the cleanest London-based stretch on the calendar now visible. ### What should fans watch next? Arsenal’s official ticket hub and fixtures page are the next checkpoints for anyone following the thread, because the club publishes ticketing details, membership access information and any fixture amendments there. (arsenal.com) The official site also lists hospitality and box office options for home matches. December 9 and December 12 are the dates supporters in the thread are building around for now, but the club’s published notice means travel and accommodation plans will depend on any later schedule changes and on ticket availability through Arsenal channels.
