Tyler Reddick Chases Three Straight Wins

Tyler Reddick's victory at COTA in 2023 was his first for 23XI Racing, the team co-owned by basketball legend Michael Jordan and fellow driver Denny Hamlin. That win, which came in a triple-overtime thriller, was one of two victories for Reddick in his inaugural season with the team. A win at the DuraMAX Texas Grand Prix would make Reddick the first driver in NASCAR's 78-year history to win the first three points races of a season. Only five other drivers before him have won the first two races of a season, most recently Matt Kenseth in 2009. His first two wins of the 2026 season came at the Daytona 500 and at Atlanta's EchoPark Speedway. The Atlanta victory was particularly dramatic, as he won despite being involved in a multi-car crash and losing his right-front fender with 37 laps to go. In addition to his 2023 COTA victory, Reddick's other road course wins in the Cup Series came in 2022 at Road America and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course while driving for Richard Childress Racing. Reddick is a two-time NASCAR Xfinity Series champion, winning back-to-back titles in 2018 and 2019 with two different teams (JR Motorsports and Richard Childress Racing). While his 2023 win came on the full 3.41-mile layout, the Cup Series has utilized a shorter 17-turn, 2.4-mile version of the track since 2025. Reddick has demonstrated remarkable consistency at COTA, finishing in the top 10 in all five Cup Series races held at the venue. To secure a historic third straight win, Reddick will have to contend with strong road course specialists, including New Zealander Shane van Gisbergen, who won five of the six road course races on the 2025 Cup schedule.
