Icaro Media Group Expands
AI-powered media technology company Icaro Media Group has announced its expansion into Europe. The company has opened new regional offices in Madrid and Lisbon to support its multiscreen audience engagement platforms.
- This European expansion builds on Icaro's 2025 acquisitions of Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) companies RioVerde in Brazil and LiftMedia in Spain and Portugal. - The new Madrid and Lisbon offices will initially focus on empowering partners in Spain and Portugal to utilize Icaro's engagement and monetization suite, including specialized DOOH networks in corporate environments. - Icaro's CEO and Chairman is Paul Feller, a senior executive with a background in media, live entertainment, and engineering. - The company's AI-powered products include TITAN AI, a generative news studio, and ICARO OTT for various video-on-demand models. - Icaro has established major partnerships in Latin America, including a 10-year contract with América Móvil's Claro Brasil, which serves over 87 million mobile customers. - The company's expansion into Europe is part of a strategy targeting an additional 200 million subscribers and follows the 2022 opening of an office in Rome. - Prior to this expansion, Icaro Media Group already had offices in New York, Boca Raton, Los Angeles, São Paulo, Mexico City, and Toronto. - In August 2021, Icaro entered into an agreement to acquire R4You, a programmatic advertising technology company, for an undisclosed eight-figure sum in cash and stock.
