Rezz withdraws from Coachella

Electronic artist Rezz has canceled her Coachella weekend‑two performance because of health issues, a change announced days after she released the EP “A Shift in Perspective.” (variety.com).

Rezz has pulled out of Coachella’s second weekend after saying health issues forced her to stop performing. (variety.com) She posted the cancellation on Tuesday, April 14, saying she had “continued to push” and that her body had been signaling she needed “a real break,” according to Variety and Billboard. (variety.com) (billboard.com) Her set had been scheduled for Saturday, April 18, during Coachella’s second weekend, which runs April 17 through April 19 in Indio, California. Coachella’s official site lists the festival’s 2026 dates as April 10 to 12 and April 17 to 19. (coachella.com 1) (coachella.com 2) The change came after Rezz played weekend one at the Sahara Tent on Saturday, April 11. Billboard reported that she had already performed that first Coachella set before announcing she would not return for weekend two. (billboard.com) Coachella repeats most of its lineup across two weekends, so a late withdrawal changes one of the festival’s advertised electronic sets just days before fans arrive for the second round. The festival sells passes by weekend, with each wristband valid for all three days of the weekend purchased. (coachella.com 1) (coachella.com 2) The cancellation also lands less than a week after Rezz released her new six-track EP, *A Shift In Perspective*, on Apple Music. Apple Music lists the project as a 2026 release with six songs and a 20-minute runtime. (music.apple.com) Coverage around the EP had tied it directly to her Coachella run. Music outlets reported the release on April 8 or April 9 and noted her planned Sahara performances on April 11 and April 18. (edmtunes.com) (nationaltoday.com) Rezz has other 2026 festival dates on the calendar, including Breakaway Music Festival in Columbus in May and Tomorrowland in Belgium in July, and Yahoo reported that she had not yet commented publicly on those appearances. For now, the only confirmed change is that her April 18 Coachella set is off. (yahoo.com)
