EDC Week is more than just a lead-up to the main Electric Daisy Carnival; it's a full-on takeover of Las Vegas that contributes significantly to the local economy. In previous years, the economic impact of EDC on Clark County has been substantial, with estimates of its annual contribution reaching over a billion dollars, signaling a massive influx of spending on hotels, food, and entertainment. The 2026 edition sees the return of electronic music titans, many with new projects on the horizon. Martin Garrix is expected to release his second album in early 2026, following up on his 2022 debut, *Sentio*. Tiësto is also teasing a new album for 2026, with his latest singles marking a return to his trance roots. Armin van Buuren is set to release the second part of his ninth studio album, 'Breathe Out', in June 2025, promising a collection of uplifting anthems and club-ready tracks. Meanwhile, Alison Wonderland's fourth album, 'Ghost World', was released in late 2025, offering a diverse collection of new music for her fans. The week is also a platform for a wide range of electronic music styles. Diplo, a multifaceted artist, has recently been involved in projects ranging from his country persona Thomas Wesley to a collaboration with the K-pop group BTS. The Day Trip pool party at Marquee Dayclub will showcase a blend of established and rising talent. Eli Brown, who made his Coachella debut in 2025, has been gaining significant momentum in the techno scene. He'll be joined by Spanish DJ Danny Avila, who has been focusing on a harder techno sound and has collaborations with artists like Eli Brown in the works for 2026. The lineup for the Day Trip party also includes Irish DJ Rebūke, known for his unique sound that blends techno, house, and early '90s rave music, and the legendary Irish DJ Fergie, who has been a staple in the techno scene since the '90s and now holds a residency in Las Vegas.
