Pullman and Novotel New Delhi Aerocity have named Farzana Ali Khan director of rooms as a new metro link to the district moves closer to opening. (bottindia.com) The appointment was announced on April 20, 2026. Bott India and Hotelier India said Khan brings more than 13 years of hospitality experience and will oversee room operations, guest service and team leadership at the twin-property complex. (bottindia.com) (hotelierindia.com) The hotel campus sits about seven minutes from Indira Gandhi International Airport and combines 670 rooms and suites across Pullman and Novotel, according to the property’s official site and a 10-year anniversary note published in November 2025. (pullmannewdelhi.com) (bottindia.com) At the same time, Delhi Metro’s Tughlakabad-Aerocity Golden Line is reported 71.3% complete. Hindustan Times said the 23.62-kilometer corridor will have 21 stations, and some sections could be operational by the end of 2026 if current work stays on schedule. (hindustantimes.com) A secondary report citing Delhi Metro Rail Corporation spokesperson Anuj Dayal said 71.33% of total work and 78% of civil construction were complete, with five tunnel-boring machines working on the Aerocity-Vasant Kunj stretch. (curlytales.com) The corridor is part of Delhi Metro Phase 4 and is designed to connect Aerocity with south Delhi neighborhoods including Vasant Kunj, Chhatarpur, Saket and Sangam Vihar before reaching Tughlakabad. Earlier coverage has described the route as the Golden Line, previously referred to as the Silver Line. (timesnownews.com) (housing.com) For Aerocity’s hotels, that means the district is adding transport capacity while tightening on-property operations. Pullman and Novotel said Khan will work with senior leadership to strengthen operating frameworks and maintain service standards as the area prepares for easier rail access. (bwhotelier.com) The timing follows a decade mark for the two Accor-branded hotels in Aerocity, which said in November 2025 that the complex had passed 10 years in operation with six dining venues and more than 14,200 square meters of meeting and event space. (bottindia.com) If the metro build stays on pace, Aerocity will enter 2027 with a larger rail catchment and a refreshed operations team at one of its biggest hotel clusters.
