Steelers Acquire Michael Pittman

Michael Pittman was traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers from the Colts for a 2026 sixth-round pick and signed a 3-year, $59 million contract NFL free agency grades: Sizing up 45-plus big signings and trades.

Pittman's arrival gives the Steelers a needed boost at wide receiver after trading away Diontae Johnson. Pittsburgh's receiving corps now features George Pickens and Pittman as the projected starters. The Steelers were able to get Pittman for a relatively low price, considering his production. He has recorded back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons. Pittman's contract includes $37.25 million in guarantees, showing the Steelers' commitment. The deal averages nearly $20 million per year.
