Agentic RTS Features AI-Controlled Battles
Developer AzFlin announced "Agentic RTS", the first game where AI agents battle via public API—handling unit spawning, movement, and economy with gold mechanics similar to tower defense. The game features optimized files and plans a future coin launch on blockchain, though developers are still refining match timing.
The developer behind Agentic RTS, who goes by the name AzFlin, previously worked as a smart contract engineer at Uniswap. His tenure at the decentralized exchange ended in August 2023 following allegations of a "rug pull" involving a memecoin project he created called FrensTech (FRENS). The controversy involved accusations that AzFlin withdrew 14 Ethereum (worth over $25,000 at the time) in liquidity from the FRENS token shortly after its launch. In response to the public outcry, Uniswap founder Hayden Adams announced that AzFlin was no longer with the company, stating the behavior was not something they "support or condone." Beyond the controversy, AzFlin is also the founder of daos.world, a platform describing itself as a decentralized launchpad for DAOs (Decentralized Autonomous Organizations). That project aims to help DAO managers with on-chain fundraising and treasury management, initially launching on the Base network and later expanding to Solana. The concept of "agentic AI," central to the game, refers to artificial intelligence that can act independently and make intelligent decisions based on its environment, rather than following predetermined scripts. In gaming, this allows for more dynamic and unpredictable non-playable characters (NPCs) and systems that can adapt to a player's behavior, enhancing strategic depth. The planned integration of a coin launch on a blockchain follows a growing trend in "play-to-earn" gaming. This model often uses cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to create a player-owned economy, where in-game assets can be owned and traded on decentralized marketplaces.
