TECNO to Unveil AI-Powered Phones at MWC
TECNO is set to unveil its new flagship AI-powered smartphone family, the CAMON 50 Series, at MWC 2026 in Barcelona. The launch will also feature a broader AI product ecosystem, signaling the company's deepening push into AI-driven consumer devices.
This launch builds on the foundation laid at MWC 2025, where TECNO first introduced its AI Ecosystem alongside the CAMON 40 series. That lineup featured AI-driven "FlashSnap" technology for instant photo capture and AI-powered tools for image editing and communication. The new CAMON 50 series advances this with a dedicated AI computing architecture paired with flagship Sony camera hardware. Key features include Super-Zoom FlashSnap, designed to capture high-speed action with no shutter lag, and an AI Auto Zoom that intelligently frames subjects. Powering many of these features is the company's evolving Ella AI assistant. Previously upgraded with Google's Gemini, the latest version focuses on localization for emerging markets, adding support for languages like Hausa and improving recognition for African-accented English and French. In 2025 alone, TECNO's AI processed over 500 million user requests, with more than half in non-English languages. Beyond the phone, the expanded ecosystem includes updated MEGABOOK laptops, AI-enhanced smart wearables, and the OneLeap smart interconnection solution for cross-device use. This follows a similar ecosystem approach from the previous year which included AI glasses and smartwatches. A major highlight of the event is the official debut of a strategic partnership with Tonino Lamborghini. The collaboration will yield a line of co-created devices, including a Tonino Lamborghini TECNO TAURUS gaming mini-PC and a limited edition POVA smartphone.
