Switch 2 signals grow

A pair of fresh Switch 2 signals surfaced: Capcom’s Pragmata footage shows 20 minutes of Switch 2 gameplay, and Taiwan’s ratings board has a Starfield entry that suggests a possible Switch 2 port. GameSpot hosted the Pragmata 20‑minute run, showing how the game looks on Nintendo’s next hardware (gamespot.com), while multiple outlets reported a Taiwan rating for Starfield as a rumor rather than confirmation (gamingbolt.com) (nintendolife.com).

Nintendo’s next console picked up two fresh third-party signals this week: Capcom footage shows *Pragmata* running on Switch 2, and Taiwan’s ratings board listed *Starfield* for the system. (gamespot.com) (ign.com) GameSpot published a 20-minute *Pragmata* video on April 17 that names Nintendo Switch 2 alongside PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Its description says the footage shows Hugh and Diana learning the game’s hacking-and-combat loop. (gamespot.com) Capcom had already said in December that *Pragmata* was coming to Nintendo Switch 2, and Nintendo’s U.S. store now lists the game for release on April 17, 2026. IGN also posted separate docked Switch 2 gameplay and said that build targets 60 frames per second. (capcom.co.jp) (nintendo.com) (ign.com) The second signal is less firm. Nintendo Life, IGN, Eurogamer and other outlets reported that Taiwan’s Entertainment Software Rating Information board added a *Starfield* entry for Nintendo Switch 2, but Bethesda and Nintendo have not announced that version. (nintendolife.com) (ign.com) (eurogamer.net) Ratings-board listings often show up before a formal reveal, but they are not release confirmations on their own. GamingBolt’s report called the listing a rumor, and Nintendo Life framed it as an apparent rating rather than a launch announcement. (gamingbolt.com) (nintendolife.com) The timing is notable because Bethesda only brought *Starfield* to PlayStation 5 on April 7, 2026, after its original 2023 launch on Xbox Series X|S and PC. A Switch 2 version would extend the same game to all three major console platforms. (blog.playstation.com) (bethesda.net) Taken together, the two developments point in different ways: *Pragmata* is now visible running on Switch 2 in long-form footage, while *Starfield* has crossed the line from rumor mill chatter to a public regulatory listing. Neither item says anything new about Nintendo’s own games, but both add to the picture of how much outside publisher support the hardware is attracting. (gamespot.com) (ign.com)
