Asante Samuel Jr.'s one-year deal with the Steelers is worth $4 million, with $2.785 million guaranteed. The contract includes a $2.785 million signing bonus and carries a $4 million cap hit for 2026. Samuel Jr., son of former Super Bowl-winning defensive back Asante Samuel, was drafted by the Chargers in the second round in 2021. Samuel Jr. had spinal fusion surgery in April 2025 and was cleared to play in November. He signed with the Steelers' practice squad before being activated. In 2025, he recorded 10 tackles and one interception in Week 15 against the Miami Dolphins. The Steelers traded a sixth-round pick to the Colts for Michael Pittman Jr. and a seventh-round pick. Pittman Jr. then signed a three-year, $59 million extension with Pittsburgh. The Steelers acquired Pittman after the Colts re-signed Alec Pierce to a four-year, $116 million deal. Isaiah Likely's deal with the Giants is for three years and $40 million, potentially reaching $47.5 million with incentives. Likely will reunite with former Ravens coach John Harbaugh in New York. The Giants also signed former Ravens punter Jordan Stout.
