Dave Matthews Band to Play Virginia Beach in June
The Dave Matthews Band has scheduled a performance at the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater in Virginia Beach for June 6. Tickets for the 2026 summer tour stop are now available.
The Dave Matthews Band’s connection to the Hampton Roads area runs deep, dating back to the 1990s. The band, which formed in Charlottesville in 1991, played frequent shows at venues like the Flood Zone in Richmond and marked a significant New Year's Eve show at the Hampton Coliseum in 1996. This upcoming show continues a long tradition of summer performances at the Virginia Beach venue. The band has been a regular act at the amphitheater for decades, with records of performances stretching back to when it was known as the GTE Virginia Beach Amphitheater in the early 2000s. The Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater has a capacity of 20,000, combining 7,500 reserved seats with a 12,500-person lawn area. Since opening in 1996, it has undergone several name changes, including stints as the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater and Farm Bureau Live. Concertgoers can expect a full evening with the band, as DMB shows typically do not feature an opening act and can last between 2.5 to 3 hours. The band is famous for varying their setlists nightly, ensuring a unique experience at each performance by drawing from their extensive catalog.
