The 2026 Porsche GT3 Cup boasts enhanced aerodynamics, including front fender louvers and underbody tweaks for sharper cornering. A redesigned front with a three-part spoiler lip simplifies repairs, while the rear features recycled carbon fiber panels. The removal of daytime running lights prevents radiator damage from minor collisions. The 4.0-liter flat-six engine now delivers 512 hp and incorporates more components from the street-legal GT3. New throttle valves and camshafts sharpen response, and a four-disc racing clutch enhances starts. The cockpit is simplified with a redesigned steering wheel featuring rotary controls for adjustments on the fly. Testing for the GT3 Cup occurred at Monza, Lausitzring, and Porsche's Weissach Development Center. Drivers Laurin Heinrich, Bastian Buus, Klaus Bachler, and Marco Seefried participated in test drives. The 992.2 GT3 Cup will debut in the 2026 Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup and Carrera Cup series.
