Elevat and Bosch's HydraForce to Develop Integrated Control Solutions
Industrial machine intelligence provider Elevat announced a strategic collaboration with HydraForce, a Bosch company. The partnership aims to deliver an integrated suite of intelligent hydraulic and electronic control solutions for industrial machinery. The collaboration will combine Elevat's machine intelligence software with HydraForce's expertise in hydraulic systems.
- Bosch Rexroth completed its acquisition of HydraForce in February 2023, integrating the company into its Compact Hydraulics Business Unit. This move was designed to strengthen Bosch Rexroth's footprint in North America and expand its distribution network for compact hydraulics solutions. - HydraForce specializes in high-performance hydraulic cartridge valves, custom manifolds, and electro-hydraulic controls for off-highway industries like farming, construction, and mining. Their product line includes a wide array of pressure, flow, and directional control valves. - Elevat focuses on Internet of Things (IoT) solutions for off-highway machinery, providing telematics, remote diagnostics, and over-the-air (OTA) software updates. The company recently launched an AI Technician Assistant that uses machine data and service history to guide technicians through repairs. - The collaboration aims to provide original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) with a single, integrated solution for connected machine intelligence, remote service tools, and proactive operational alerts. This allows for monitoring of field-deployed assets to reduce downtime and maintenance costs. - This partnership builds on a prior collaboration between Elevat, HydraForce, and Tan Delta Systems, which focused on integrating oil conditioning sensors with telematics to monitor hydraulic fluid health and prevent component wear. - The target market for this integrated solution includes the construction, agriculture, mining, and forestry industries, where IoT fleet management is increasingly used to reduce operational costs and improve machine uptime. The global IoT fleet management market was projected to reach $12.3 billion by 2026.
