Tint World Expands Leadership Team
Tint World Automotive Styling Centers has made two strategic executive appointments, naming a new Chief Development Officer and a VP of Finance. The franchise company stated the leadership expansion is intended to accelerate its national expansion plans for 2026.
The new executive appointments include Chief Development Officer Jack Tusa, who brings over two decades of experience in franchise development from his time at TBC Corporation and Big O Tires. He is joined by Michael Lopez as Vice President of Finance, who previously served as a senior financial analyst for a private equity firm. This leadership expansion supports Tint World's goal of awarding 85 new franchises and opening over 50 new locations in 2026. The company has seen significant growth, signing 39 franchise agreements in 2025 with 56 stores currently in development. Financially, Tint World surpassed the $100 million mark in store revenue for the first time in 2025. The top 50% of its stores have an average revenue of $1,066,581 with a 79% gross profit margin. A strategic investment from Susquehanna Growth Equity in October 2025 is set to fuel this accelerated franchise development. This marked the first time the company has taken on institutional capital. Founded in 1982 in Tamarac, Florida, Tint World began as a single window tinting shop. The company started franchising in 2007 and has since grown to over 150 locations in four countries. The company offers a wide range of automotive styling services beyond window tinting, including paint protection films, vehicle wraps, and audio systems. This diverse service offering creates multiple revenue streams for its franchisees. Tint World has also embraced technology to streamline customer experience, recently launching an online booking platform for appointments. The company's growth has been recognized within the industry; it was ranked as the #1 automotive franchise by Entrepreneur Magazine for 15 consecutive years.
