Fremont Mothers' Club Opens Expo Registration

The F.U.N. Mothers' Club in Fremont is organizing a Kids Educational Expo for 2026. Registration is now open for local organizations that want to connect with parents and showcase their educational programs and services.

The F.U.N. Mothers' Club, a non-profit organization, has been a staple in the Tri-City area since its inception as the Newark Mothers' Club in 1991. It later expanded to include Fremont and Union City, officially changing its name in 1996 to better represent its growing community of mothers. The club operates as a volunteer-run support network for parents of all backgrounds. This year marks the 21st annual Kids Educational Expo, a cornerstone event for the club and a significant community resource. Previously known as the Preschool and Enrichment Fair, the expo has broadened its scope to serve families with children from toddlers through junior high. The event is free and open to the public, aiming to connect parents with a wide array of local educational opportunities. The 2024 expo was anticipated to feature over 25 participating schools and programs, offering a diverse showcase for parents. Exhibitors typically range from preschools and after-school programs to summer camps and tutoring services. This provides a centralized venue for families to explore educational paths for their children. The expo serves a community with a strong focus on education. The Fremont Unified School District enrolls approximately 33,000 students across its 44 schools. The city of Fremont itself is characterized by a high median household income and a significant Asian population, reflecting a diverse and education-oriented demographic.
