Granblue Fantasy Character Reveal
Cygames released the "Meet the Crew: Beatrix" trailer for Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok, introducing Beatrix as a new playable character. The game is available across PC, PS4, PS5, and Switch 2 platforms, continuing the narrative expansion of this story-driven RPG.
Beatrix is an agent of the Society and the contractor for the sealed weapon Embrasque. Her relentless pursuit of glory in battle against primal beasts often leads her into precarious situations. In combat, she is a close-range specialist, utilizing her unique "delta clock" mechanic to gain various buffs that can enhance her damage, survivability, or provide healing. The "Endless Ragnarok" expansion introduces a significant amount of new content beyond just new characters. Players can expect new story elements, additional quest tiers, and new formidable bosses, including the "apocalyptic Ragnalia" which are described as a tier above any previous foes. A new solo game mode called the "Conflux" is being added, offering unpredictable challenges for individual players. For multiplayer, the expansion will introduce cross-platform play, allowing for a larger pool of players across all available consoles. A closed beta is planned to test this crossplay functionality before the official release. *Granblue Fantasy: Relink* has been a commercial success for developer Cygames, having sold over one million copies within its first 11 days of release in February 2024. By July 2025, the game had surpassed two million units sold worldwide. The game was initially a collaboration between Cygames and PlatinumGames, though PlatinumGames was no longer involved after February 2019, with Cygames handling the remainder of development.
