Rob Zombie Drops 'The Great Satan'

Horror-rock maestro Rob Zombie unleashed his new album "The Great Satan," delivering another dose of his trademark theatrical metal-infused rock. The album promises the visual and sonic spectacle Zombie is known for. This marks his latest full-length release continuing his decades-long fusion of horror imagery and heavy music.

"The Great Satan" marks Rob Zombie's eighth solo studio album and his first release through Nuclear Blast Records. The album is being described as a return to his "Hellbilly roots," evoking the sound of his earlier work on albums like "Hellbilly Deluxe" and "The Sinister Urge." The album features the return of guitarist Riggs and bassist Rob "Blasko" Nicholson, who haven't played on a Rob Zombie album together since 2001's "The Sinister Urge." This follows the departure of longtime bassist Matt "Piggy D." Montgomery in January 2024. The lineup is rounded out by drummer Ginger Fish. Prior to the album's full release on February 27, 2026, Zombie released three singles: "Punks and Demons," "Heathen Days," and "(I'm a) Rock 'N' Roller." The first single, "Punks and Demons," was released on October 10, 2025, to a positive reception. Zombie's previous album, "The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy," was released on March 12, 2021. It became his first album to hit No. 1 on Billboard's Top Album Sales chart. In support of the new album, Rob Zombie is scheduled to embark on the "Freaks on Parade" tour starting in August 2026. The tour will also feature co-headliner Marilyn Manson, along with special guests The Hu and Orgy. Beyond music, Zombie's most recent film project was "The Munsters," a 2022 film based on the 1960s sitcom. He has also been attached to a number of unrealized film projects over the years, including a biopic on Groucho Marx and a miniseries about the Manson Family.
