Glasswall Launches File-Based Threat Intelligence
Glasswall introduced Foresight, a new class of file-based threat intelligence. The AI-powered threat prediction aims to give security teams better visibility into unknown and zero-day file threats.
Glasswall's Foresight uses machine learning and Content Disarm and Reconstruction (CDR) to predict file-based threats, including zero-day attacks. Unlike traditional methods that rely on external data or sandboxing, Foresight analyzes file structure during the CDR process. This approach offers security teams better visibility and threat prioritization, even offline. The AI-driven threat intelligence market is experiencing rapid growth, projected to reach $65.34 billion by 2035. AI enhances threat detection by analyzing vast amounts of data to identify patterns and anomalies. AI can also automate threat intelligence collection from various sources, including the dark web, and enrich it with context. Glasswall's competitors in the threat intelligence space include Proofpoint, Mimecast, and SpamTitan. These companies offer secure email gateway software with advanced threat intelligence and protection. Other competitors include Odix, Votiro and YazamTech. Zero-day exploits, which target previously unknown software vulnerabilities, pose a significant risk.
