Tiledesk Gains Traction as Open-Source Real Estate Chatbot
Tiledesk, an open-source AI chatbot platform, is being adopted by real estate agencies for 24/7 customer support. The platform enables brokerages to automate lead capture and answer inquiries across multiple channels without being locked into a proprietary vendor.
- Tiledesk raised a €600,000 seed round in May 2022, led by the Techshop Primo fund. CEO Andrea Sponziello noted the investment would be used to expand the team and support international growth. - The platform's technical architecture uses Angular for the front end, Node.js for the back end, and Python-based LSTM/BERT models for AI-driven intent classification. For infrastructure, it relies on MongoDB for data storage, Redis for real-time states, and RabbitMQ/MQTT for its messaging engine. - It is positioned as an "Agentic-AI Operating System," allowing the creation of multi-agent workflows through a visual, no-code design studio. The system supports human-in-the-loop capabilities to escalate complex queries from AI to human agents with full context. - A core feature is its native Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) engine, which allows chatbots to pull accurate answers from integrated knowledge bases, documents, and even historical email threads. This enables the creation of specialized AI agents for roles like sales or support, each trained on a specific knowledge set. - The open-source framework allows for on-premise deployment, giving businesses complete control over their data and infrastructure without vendor lock-in. The system is natively multi-tenant, meaning a single installation can securely manage multiple, isolated projects. - Tiledesk offers multi-channel support, enabling deployment across web, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, SMS, and voice channels. It also features a marketplace for integrations with third-party applications like HubSpot, OpenAI, and Shopify. - In the conversational AI market, Tiledesk competes with other open-source platforms like Rocket.Chat as well as all-in-one AI support solutions such as Tidio and Zendesk.
