Also, the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art from Delhi will present Nalini Malani's commission at the Magazzini del Sale n.5, a historic Venetian venue [https://artasiapacific.com/news/weekly-news-roundup-march-13-2026].
The "Art in the Global Stream" project will be a collateral event of the Biennale, spotlighting contemporary Vietnamese art on a global stage. This marks a significant step in increasing the visibility and recognition of Vietnamese artists within the international art community. The project is curated by Dolla S. Merrillees, an Australian curator with extensive experience in Southeast Asian art. Participating Vietnamese artists include Nguyen Phuong Linh, Nguyen Manh Hung, and Tran Cam Tu, each bringing unique perspectives and mediums to the exhibition. Nalini Malani's commission at the Magazzini del Sale n.5 adds another layer of South Asian representation to the Biennale. The Kiran Nadar Museum of Art's involvement highlights the growing influence of Indian art institutions on the global art scene.
