Navigara Launches AI Performance Platform

A new startup, Navigara, has launched what it calls a 'performance layer' for engineering teams, backed by $2.5 million in funding. The platform aims to help engineering leaders measure and prove the actual performance improvements and ROI from adopting AI coding tools.

The San Francisco-based startup was co-founded in 2025 by former CTO and systems engineer Jirka Bachel, with engineering operations based in Prague. The company aims to solve a critical problem for modern engineering teams: while AI coding tools increase the volume of code being shipped, leaders often lack the tools to measure the actual impact on productivity and business outcomes. Navigara's platform integrates with existing development tools like GitHub, GitLab, Jira, and Linear to analyze engineering activity. Instead of just tracking vanity metrics like the number of commits, it focuses on outcomes, providing insight into quality, alignment with business goals, and the true impact of AI tool adoption. This allows leaders to get a clearer picture of their teams' performance. The recent $2.5 million seed funding round was led by Inovo VC, with participation from Rockaway Ventures and QQ Capital. This investment reflects a growing demand for objective performance measurement as AI becomes more integrated into software development. The funds will be used to accelerate product development and scale the company's AI technology and global expansion. For security-conscious organizations, Navigara offers deployment in private cloud environments. The platform has read-only access to data and does not retain any code, ensuring that a company's proprietary information remains secure. This makes it a suitable option for enterprises with high-compliance requirements.
