Replit shows up in Confluence

Atlassian has added Replit to Confluence through a new set of built-in artificial intelligence agents that turn documents into starter apps without custom integration work. (atlassian.com) The company announced the feature on April 8, 2026, alongside “Remix with Rovo,” an open beta tool that converts Confluence pages into charts, diagrams, infographics, and other visual formats. Atlassian said the rollout starts for Confluence Cloud customers with Rovo and continues over the next few weeks. (atlassian.com) The new partner agents connect Confluence to Lovable, Replit, and Gamma. Atlassian said those agents can turn a page into a working prototype in Lovable, a starter app in Replit, or a presentation in Gamma. (atlassian.com) Confluence is Atlassian’s workplace wiki and documentation product, and Replit is a browser-based coding platform. Putting the two together moves Confluence closer to a place where product plans, technical notes, and meeting writeups can become software outputs from the same page. (atlassian.com) (replit.com) Atlassian said the agents use Model Context Protocol, an open standard for linking artificial intelligence systems to outside tools and data sources. The company said that setup lets partners plug into Confluence without Atlassian building a separate one-off integration for each vendor. (atlassian.com) (anthropic.com) That matters for Atlassian’s product mix because Confluence has long been where teams store plans and Jira has been where they track work. With these additions, Atlassian is pushing Confluence beyond documentation and toward generating code, slides, and visuals directly from stored knowledge. (atlassian.com) (techcrunch.com) Atlassian tied the launch to its Teamwork Graph, the company’s data layer that connects information across Atlassian products and third-party apps. The company said Remix uses that graph to recommend formats and preserve context from the source page. (atlassian.com) The early use cases are concrete. Atlassian said a product requirements document can become a prototype, a technical document can become a starter app in Replit, and a long project page can become a presentation without copy-pasting text between tools. (atlassian.com) Outside coverage has framed the move as part of a wider race among workplace software companies to keep users inside their own platforms while adding artificial intelligence assistants. TechCrunch reported that Atlassian is focusing these launches on turning stored enterprise content into visual assets and applications. (techcrunch.com) For Replit, the appearance inside Confluence puts its app-building workflow in front of teams that already write specs and internal docs in Atlassian software. For Atlassian, it gives Confluence a new pitch: not just the place where work is described, but a place where the first version gets built. (atlassian.com)
