Cloudastructure to Deploy AI Surveillance at Luxury Community

A top-15 US operator of multifamily communities has selected Cloudastructure to install its AI-powered video surveillance and remote guarding system. The deployment at a luxury Houston community is intended to replace traditional security guards with real-time AI monitoring and intervention. This represents a growing trend of applying AI to physical security in the real estate sector.

- Palo Alto-based Cloudastructure (NASDAQ: CSAI) now works with 8 of the top 15 largest U.S. multifamily operators as ranked by the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC). The company's platform has a documented 98% incident deterrence rate across the properties it monitors. - The deployment replaces traditional guards with a system featuring AI video surveillance, remote guarding, facial recognition, and license plate recognition. The technology connects to existing cameras, sending footage to Cloudastructure's servers for AI analysis, which can then alert property managers or remote guards for intervention. - The global AI in Physical Security market is projected to grow from USD 5.71 billion in 2025 to USD 10.98 billion by 2031, at a compound annual growth rate of 11.51%. This growth is driven by the increasing volume of video data that makes manual monitoring inefficient. - Cloudastructure has raised a total of $31.3 million over 7 funding rounds. Its largest round was a Series A for $29.6 million in July 2021, and it has since secured additional funding through preferred stock offerings. - The integration of AI with physical security is a growing trend in real estate to manage large volumes of sensitive data, from tenant records to financial statements, and to protect against fraud. In 2023, the FBI reported over 9,521 real estate fraud complaints, resulting in more than $145 million in losses. - In the Turkish market, AI-based security is also a focus, with companies like TURK AI developing solutions for real-time threat detection, face recognition, and object detection. Another firm, Secure Future, has established an AI-Based Security Operations Center to combat cyber threats.
