Arnold Strongman Streams Free
The 2026 Arnold Strongman & Strongwoman Classic is set to stream live with free viewing options available. This iconic competition features some of the planet's strongest athletes competing in classic and innovative challenges, making it one of the most anticipated events in the lifting world.
The Arnold Strongman Classic is widely considered the heaviest and most challenging professional strongman competition globally. Co-founded by Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2002, the event is a cornerstone of the annual Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus, Ohio. Unlike many other strongman contests that test endurance, the Arnold Classic is renowned for its focus on maximum raw strength. Canadian Mitchell Hooper enters the 2026 competition as the three-time defending champion, a feat that places him in an elite group alongside strongman legends like Brian Shaw and Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson. The all-time record for wins is held by Žydrūnas Savickas with eight titles. On the women's side, the 2025 Arnold Strongwoman Classic was won by Inez Carrasquillo. The 2026 competition, held from March 6-7, will feature a series of six demanding events designed to push athletes to their absolute limits. Day one includes the Elephant Bar Deadlift, the Cyr Dumbbell Challenge, and the Stone to Shoulder. The second day of competition will see athletes tackle The Stone Drag, the Austrian Oak log press, and a new event called Ramp Rage. The Elephant Bar Deadlift is a signature event, utilizing a longer, more flexible barbell that increases the difficulty of the lift. The Cyr Dumbbell Challenge tests overhead pressing power with a modern replica of the massive dumbbell used by legendary strongman Louis Cyr. In the Stone to Shoulder, competitors must lift heavy, awkward stones to a controlled position on their shoulder for repetitions. Day two's challenges include the Stone Drag, where athletes will carry stones before loading them onto a sled to be pulled across a course. The Austrian Oak is a massive log that competitors must press overhead for reps, a true test of shoulder and triceps strength. The finals will conclude with Ramp Rage, a fast-paced event requiring athletes to carry three heavy sandbags up an incline. The lineup for the 2026 Arnold Strongwoman Classic includes defending champion Inez Carrasquillo, 2024 winner Angelica Jardine, and past champions Olga Liashchuk and Andrea Thompson. The men's roster features reigning champion Mitchell Hooper, past winner Martins Licis, and a host of other top-tier international competitors. While the prize money for the Arnold Classic's professional bodybuilding competition has seen a dramatic increase for 2026, with the men's open winner set to receive $750,000, the specific prize purse for the Strongman and Strongwoman Classic has not been announced. The Arnold Sports Festival as a whole will award a total of $1.5 million in prize money.
