Diver finished 19th in the Tokyo Marathon with a time of 2:29:57. This marked her first marathon since the Paris 2024 games. In October, during her post-Paris comeback, she secured third place at the Nike Melbourne Festival Half-Marathon, clocking in at 1:10.56. The Tokyo Marathon took place on March 1st in Japan, which translates to February 28th for those in the Western Hemisphere. Brigid Kosgei from Kenya won the women's race with a time of 2:14:29.
