BLACKPINK's 'GO' Debuts on US Pop Radio
BLACKPINK's 'GO' officially debuted at #40 on the US Pop Radio (Mediabase) chart, marking another milestone for the K-pop group's crossover success. The debut generated buzz across social platforms with posts racking up 1,898 likes and 28k views from radio tracking accounts.
The debut of "GO" on the US Pop Radio chart is part of a larger, highly anticipated comeback for BLACKPINK. The song is the lead single from their third mini-album, "DEADLINE," which was released on February 27, 2026. This marks the group's first full-group project in more than three years, following their 2022 album "Born Pink." The group's return generated massive global interest. The music video for "GO" surpassed 30 million views on YouTube within its first 24 hours, topping the platform's global music video chart. The EP "DEADLINE" also saw immediate commercial success, selling nearly 1.5 million copies on its first day of release, setting a new record for a K-pop girl group. The album reached No. 1 on iTunes' Top Albums chart in 32 countries. This isn't BLACKPINK's first time making inroads with American radio. Their 2020 collaboration with Selena Gomez, "Ice Cream," climbed into the Top 20 on the Mediabase pop radio airplay chart, a significant achievement for a K-pop girl group. That single also debuted at No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100, the highest-charting single for a female Korean act at the time. The landscape for K-pop in the American market has evolved significantly over the years. The Wonder Girls were the first South Korean group to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 with their English version of "Nobody" in 2009. Since then, the genre's presence has grown substantially, with numerous groups and solo artists achieving success on various U.S. charts.
