Breakaway's Miami Music Week debut, Breakaway Beach, is a strategic move for the brand, which is known for targeting underserved markets. By hosting an event during one of the electronic music industry's most significant weeks, Breakaway is positioning itself among top-tier electronic music events. The choice of the historic National Hotel, an Art Deco landmark in South Beach, provides an intimate and upscale setting, a departure from the brand's typical large-scale festival format. The event is hosted at an adults-only, oceanfront hotel with a guest capacity of up to 150, suggesting an exclusive experience. The National Hotel frequently hosts live music and DJ sets, making it a seasoned venue for electronic music events, especially during Miami Music Week. The lineup features a mix of established and rising artists. French house legend Bob Sinclar, known for global hits like "Love Generation" and "World, Hold On," will perform a special sunset set. His career, spanning since the 1980s, has been influential in popularizing the "French touch" of house music. Australian DJ and producer ODD MOB, also known as Harry Hope, brings a contemporary house sound to the lineup. He has gained significant recognition with tracks like "LEFT TO RIGHT" and has performed at major festivals including Coachella and EDC. The back-to-back set from Devault and Linska pairs two distinct and emerging styles. Devault is known for his cinematic and futuristic sound, drawing inspiration from artists like Depeche Mode and Daft Punk, and has received acclaim for his remixes of major artists like Rihanna and DJ Snake. Linska, a London-born, LA-based producer, is recognized for her dark, driving tech house and techno, with her breakout single "Bad Boy" surpassing 15 million streams.
