The Koenigsegg CC850's design pays homage to the CC8S, Koenigsegg's first production car, which debuted 20 years ago. While inspired by the original, the CC850 is built on the Koenigsegg Jesko platform. Originally, Koenigsegg planned to produce only 50 CC850s to celebrate the company founder's 50th birthday. However, due to overwhelming demand, they increased production to 70 cars. The additional 20 cars commemorate 20 years of Koenigsegg production. The CC850 boasts a twin-turbo 5.0-liter V8 engine, delivering 1,385 horsepower when using E85 fuel. Its curb weight is 1,385 kg, achieving a 1:1 power-to-weight ratio. The car's standout feature is the Engage Shift System (ESS), a transmission that functions as both a 9-speed automatic and a 6-speed manual with a clutch pedal.
