Batman-Themed AR Glasses Debut

AR technology company RayNeo has unveiled a special Batman Edition of its new RayNeo Air 4 Pro smart glasses at MWC 2026. The new augmented reality wearables have been available for purchase since February 27.

The special edition glasses are part of a partnership with DC and come in two variants: a "Justice Edition" based on Batman and a "Chaos Edition" themed after the Joker. Each version includes a themed, snap-on lens shade that doubles as a minimalist mask, allowing for what RayNeo calls "everyday cosplay expression." Under the hood, the Air 4 Pro glasses feature dual Micro-OLED displays that create a virtual 201-inch screen as viewed from 6 meters away. They are the first AR glasses to support HDR10, offering a significant increase in color depth to 10.7 billion colors, compared to 16.77 million in the previous model. The audio system is tuned by Bang & Olufsen and features four speakers. A "Whisper Mode" uses phase-canceling acoustics to minimize sound leakage, allowing for private listening in public spaces. The glasses weigh 76 grams and connect via USB-C to devices like smartphones, laptops, and gaming consoles. The standard RayNeo Air 4 Pro has a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $299, though it launched with an early bird price of $249. The Batman Limited Edition costs slightly more, with an MSRP of $319 and a launch price of $269. This pricing positions the glasses as a competitively affordable option in the AR market, where competing devices can cost upwards of $450-$500.
