Turkish Vehicle Maker TEMSA Reports Record Revenue

Turkish bus and coach manufacturer TEMSA announced its strongest financial performance to date for 2025, achieving record revenue of $554 million. The company also reached all-time-high sales in key European markets as it expands its footprint on the continent. TEMSA stated it is advancing toward its goal of $1 billion in revenue.

- The company's recent success follows its acquisition in late 2020 by a joint partnership of Turkey's Sabancı Holding and the Czech Republic-based PPF Group, which is the controlling shareholder of Škoda Transportation. - In the United Kingdom and Ireland, TEMSA's vehicle fleet has grown to 673 units, securing an estimated 15% market share in the coach segment. The company also ranks among the top three manufacturers in France's coach market, with 6,000 of its vehicles operating in the country. - As part of its 2025 European expansion, the manufacturer entered six new markets: Finland, Norway, Poland, Croatia, Malta, and Albania. - TEMSA is heavily invested in electric vehicle production, offering 11 zero-emission models. In 2025, it completed its largest single delivery of electric intercity coaches with a 10-unit order in Portugal and dispatched 15 electric vehicles to Lithuania's public transport network. - Beyond Europe, the company is also a significant player in North America, ranking as one of the top four manufacturers in its segment with a vehicle park of nearly 1,000 units. - The 2025 performance is part of a larger turnaround; from 2021 to 2024, the company's global revenue in U.S. dollars grew by 320%. - The company's production facility in Adana, Turkey, has an annual single-shift capacity of 10,000 vehicles, including buses, midibuses, and light trucks. Historically, it has exported over 18,000 vehicles to 70 countries.
