Slice House Pizza Coming to Fremont
A new restaurant, Slice House, will soon be opening in Fremont's Pacific Commons shopping center. The eatery will offer pizza and other Italian-American dishes, expanding the dining options in the area. An official opening date has not yet been announced.
- The Fremont location will be at 43456 Boscell Road, taking over the former Dog Haus space in the Pacific Commons Shopping Center. - Slice House is the creation of Tony Gemignani, a 13-time World Pizza Champion who grew up in Fremont. - The franchisees for the Fremont location, Hersh Mahavni and Pritika Rajasanshi, also grew up in the Fremont area. - The menu will feature several styles of pizza, including New York, Sicilian, Grandma, and Detroit-style, available by the slice or as a whole pie. - In addition to pizza, the restaurant will offer pastas, wings, salads, and a variety of appetizers like meatballs and garlic bread. - Slice House has a rapidly growing national presence, with over 135 locations open or in development across several states. - The company began franchising in July 2022, and its model proved successful, especially during the pandemic, due to its small footprint and focus on takeout and delivery. - Other nearby Slice House locations in the Bay Area include Mountain View, Walnut Creek, San Leandro, Castro Valley, and Milpitas.
