Harry Styles Drops New Album
Harry Styles released his new album *Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally.* featuring tracks like "American Girls" (inspired by friends' weddings), "Paint By Numbers," and "Coming Up Roses" — described by Styles as a nuanced love song about fleeting romance. His new single "Pop" is a playful take on new romance.
This marks Styles' fourth studio album and his first release in nearly four years, following the critically acclaimed *Harry's House*. That 2022 album secured the coveted Album of the Year awards at both the 2023 Grammys and the Brit Awards. The new 12-track project was executive produced by Kid Harpoon, a key collaborator on all of Styles' solo albums. Recording sessions for the album took place throughout 2024 and 2025 in various renowned studios, including Abbey Road in London and Hansa Studios in Berlin. Styles has cited the "joyous" music of LCD Soundsystem as a significant inspiration for the album's direction. After his massive "Love On Tour" ended in 2023, he aimed to create music that would make him feel like he was "in the middle of the dance floor" when performing. The album features a number of guest artists, including background vocals from Ellie Rowsell, the lead singer of the English rock band Wolf Alice. Members of the London-based House Gospel Choir also contribute to several tracks, such as the lead single "Aperture." Expectations are high, as Styles' previous albums have set sales records. *Harry's House* had the largest opening week for any album in 2022, with 521,500 units sold in the U.S. It also broke the modern-era record for single-week vinyl sales. His 2019 album, *Fine Line*, was the best-selling vinyl album in the U.S. for 2020 and has sold over 5 million copies in total. To support the new release, Styles has announced "Together, Together," a series of concert residencies planned for seven cities. Early reviews for *Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally.* are generally favorable, with critics calling it a "delightfully strange, often lovely, and consistently fascinating album" and a successful evolution of his sound.
