Secret Lives of Mormon Wives on Disney+

Disney+ is carrying “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” according to the service’s current title page, which lists the reality series as a four-season show available on the platform. Peacock, in a separate update, said “The Paper” Season 2 premieres on September 9, not September 8, clarifying part of the cross-platform chatter that circulated in streaming-watch posts over the past day. Disney+ describes “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” as a series about Mormon mom influencers whose circle is upended by a swinging-sex scandal that drew international headlines. The U.S. Disney+ listing shows the series page live now, while Disney+ editorial pages for the show say recent seasons have been available through Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers in the United States. (disneyplus.com) ### Is the show actually on Disney+ in the United States? Disney+ in the United States shows a live series page for “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” with four seasons listed on the service. That supports the basic claim that the title is available through Disney’s streaming ecosystem. Disney+’s own U.S. editorial coverage adds an important qualifier. (disneyplus.com) A Disney+ article about Season 4 says all seasons, including Season 4, are streaming on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers, indicating that U.S. access is tied to the Hulu integration rather than a standalone Disney+ placement for all subscribers. ### Why are some Disney+ pages talking about Season 5 already? Disney+ pages in international markets, including the U.K. and Anguilla versions surfaced in search results, say “Season 5 Coming to Disney+ 10 September 2026.” A separate Disney+ page for a “Season 5: A Special Look” says the new season returns to Hulu on September 10. (disneyplus.com) September 10, 2026 is therefore the next date attached to the franchise in Disney’s own materials. The service pages do not, in the search snippets reviewed, spell out whether every market gets the same release pattern or whether U.S. viewers will see the season through Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ while some international markets see it directly on Disney+. (disneyplus.com) ### What does Disney+ say the show is about? Disney+ says the show follows a group of Mormon mom influencers whose “sisterhood is shook to its core” after the scandal becomes public. The service page says faith, friendship and reputations are at stake and asks whether “#MomTok” can survive. Season-specific Disney+ material says the story has expanded beyond Utah in later episodes, while the cast continues dealing with fallout inside the group. (disneyplus.com) Disney’s Season 4 article says all 10 episodes of that season dropped on March 12, 2026. ### What about the other streaming claim tied to “The Paper”? Peacock says “The Paper” Season 2 premieres on September 9, according to both its blog and an NBCUniversal release. (disneyplus.com) NBCUniversal said all episodes would premiere that day, while Peacock’s programming roundup for September also lists September 9 as the debut date. Peacock’s main show page says “The Paper” is available now on Peacock, but that refers to the series generally and does not override the dated Season 2 premiere notices. (disneyplus.com) The more specific season announcements place the second season’s release on September 9. ### What should viewers watch next? September 9 is Peacock’s stated premiere date for “The Paper” Season 2, and September 10 is the date Disney+ pages attach to “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” Season 5. (peacocktv.com) Viewers checking availability next should use the Disney+ series page, Disney’s season explainer pages and Peacock’s season announcement pages for the latest platform-specific listing.
