A Perplexity demo showed one operator researching 50 sales prospects in about 30 minutes and turning that work into outreach materials for reps. (perplexity.ai) Perplexity’s sales pages say the product is built to give reps “fact-checked insights” on leads and competitors, then use those findings for more frequent personal outreach. Its enterprise templates include prospect reports with company history, revenue, decision-makers, technology stack, market pressures and likely sales opportunities. In a published example, Perplexity says its “Computer” product can turn pipeline data into competitive battle cards, talk tracks, objection handling and a prospect-specific landing page in one run. (perplexity.ai) Perplexity launched Labs on May 29, 2025 as a tool that can spend “10 minutes or more” doing self-supervised work, including deep web browsing, code execution, spreadsheets, dashboards and simple web apps. The company said Labs was meant for projects that need more than a quick answer or a standard research report. (perplexity.ai) That matters for sales teams because prospecting usually breaks into small manual tasks: find the account, verify the buyer, read recent news, map likely pain points and draft a message that sounds specific. Perplexity’s pitch is that one system can compress those steps into a single prompt-driven workflow. In one example, fintech company Rho said Perplexity Enterprise made sales research 75 percent faster, lifted weekly outreach volume 30 percent and saved more than 12.5 hours a week across users. The company said Perplexity’s Crunchbase integration helped narrow lists with natural-language queries instead of manual filtering and enrichment. Its pricing page lists Enterprise Pro at $34 a seat a month when billed annually, with search across the web, team files and work apps, plus single sign-on, user management and compliance controls.
