The New York Botanical Garden’s Orchid Show is in its final days, with the 2026 edition running through Saturday, April 26, in the Bronx. (nybg.org) This year’s show is called “The Orchid Show: Mr. Flower Fantastic’s Concrete Jungle,” and it fills the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory with orchid-covered takes on New York street life, including stoops, slice shops and the subway. (nybg.org) The exhibition opened February 7 and is the 23rd edition of the garden’s annual orchid showcase. The designer, Mr. Flower Fantastic, is a Queens-born floral artist whose past clients and collaborators include Nike, Adidas, Netflix and Louis Vuitton. (nybg.org) Daytime admission comes through the All-Garden Pass, which costs $35 for adults, $31 for students and seniors, $15 for children ages 2 to 12, and free for children under 2, members and patrons. The pass also includes the garden grounds, tram tour, Everett Children’s Adventure Garden and daily programs. (nybg.org) Regular hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday, and the garden’s April calendar shows the Orchid Show still scheduled this week. Separate Orchid Nights tickets are sold for adults 21 and older, with evening access from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on select dates. (nybg.org 1) (nybg.org 2) The show lands in New York’s spring events calendar as both a flower display and a city-themed installation. Time Out describes it as one of the season’s major Bronx outings and notes that daytime tickets also cover the rest of the garden’s outdoor collections. (timeout.com) NYBG is also using the exhibition to push orchid education beyond the display itself. The garden’s press materials say visitors can learn about orchid care on select weekends and about NYBG’s orchid research and conservation work, including species found in New York State. (nybg.org) That leaves a short window for anyone who wants the city reimagined in bloom: the show closes April 26 at 2900 Southern Boulevard, inside one of the Bronx’s biggest spring draws.
