Valorant Nations Cup Announced

Valorant is launching the Esports Nations Cup, a World Cup-style event featuring country teams scheduled for November. The tournament will debut Filipino talents like invyzz and 47GLYPH, while VCT EMEA Stage 1 Playoffs continue in Santiago with BBL, M8, and TL advancing to vie for Grand Final spots.

- The Valorant Nations Cup will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from November 8-15, 2026, and is part of the inaugural Esports Nations Cup which features 16 different competitive gaming titles. - A prize pool of $1,500,000 has been announced for the Valorant portion of the tournament. - The tournament will begin with a 32-team round-robin group stage, with the top 16 teams advancing to a single-elimination playoff bracket to determine the champion. - Qualification for the 32 slots is split between 16 direct invitations based on a new "VALORANT National Team Rankings" system, 14 teams from regional qualifiers, and two wildcard entries. - Filipino player Adrian "invy" Jiggs Reyes currently plays for the Singaporean organization Paper Rex, who are one of the Pacific region's representatives at the upcoming Masters Santiago event. - Conner "47GLYPH" Garcia, another Filipino talent, has recently competed for Gentle Mates in the EMEA region. - The VCT EMEA Stage 1 Playoffs are part of the lead-up to VALORANT Masters Santiago, the first international tournament of the 2026 season, running from February 28 to March 15. - The three teams representing the EMEA region at Masters Santiago are BBL Esports, Gentle Mates, and Team Liquid, who qualified through the VCT EMEA Kickoff event.
