Everfi Launches K-12 Data Portal for Partners

Education technology company Everfi has launched its K-12 Impact Portal, a dashboard providing real-time data to its partners. The tool is designed to measure the impact of investments in K-12 programs, including essential life-skills education.

- The portal provides partners with an interactive dashboard to view metrics such as the number of engaged students, participating schools and teachers, total learning hours, and course completions. - In January 2022, Blackbaud, a cloud software company for social good, acquired Everfi for approximately $750 million in cash and stock. - Everfi's business model is termed "Impact-as-a-Service," where corporate sponsors fund the development and delivery of educational content to K-12 schools, making it free for students and teachers. - Partners can filter the portal's data by course, school district, low- to moderate-income (LMI) status, state, and county to align with their specific organizational goals. - The portal is designed to help Everfi's partners, which include financial institutions and corporations, measure the impact of their community investments and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. - This tool is part of a broader trend in K-12 education to use data analytics to personalize learning, identify at-risk students, and make data-driven decisions for resource allocation. - The platform includes a geographic heat map to visualize program activation across the country and provides access to previous years' reports for long-term trend analysis. - Everfi's partners include major corporations and sports leagues such as the NFL, NHL, and MLB, who sponsor various real-world learning courses.
