Xbox Game Pass Adds Two RPGs

Xbox Game Pass added Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and Final Fantasy 3 to its March 2026 lineup. Both titles have garnered "very positive" reviews and are now available for subscribers, expanding the platform's appeal to fans of immersive, story-driven games.

*Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, developed by Warhorse Studios, saw massive commercial success upon its release on February 4, 2025. The realistic medieval RPG sold one million copies on its first day and surpassed five million units within its first year. The game was lauded for its commitment to historical accuracy, skill-focused melee combat, and an immersive, reactive world. Set in 15th-century Bohemia, it continues the story of Henry, the son of a blacksmith, on a quest for revenge amidst a civil war. *Final Fantasy 3* brings a very different, yet classic, RPG experience to the service. Originally released in Japan in 1990 for the Famicom (NES), it was the first title in the series to sell over a million copies. The game was a hallmark of innovation for the series, introducing the job system that allows characters to change classes at any time. Western audiences, however, had to wait 16 years for an official release. The game was not available in North America or Europe until the 3D remake was released for the Nintendo DS in 2006. The version available on Game Pass is the "Pixel Remaster," which stays true to the 2D original while offering quality-of-life improvements.
