Oracle is holding its Oracle AI Applications Forum in New Delhi on Wednesday, April 23, with a one-day agenda centered on how companies use AI inside finance, human resources, and supply chain software. (oracle.com) The event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3:50 p.m. at The LaLiT New Delhi, and Oracle says attendance is complimentary. Oracle’s event page says Deloitte is hosting the forum with Oracle. (oracle.com) Oracle is pitching the forum around Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, its suite for back-office work such as accounting, hiring, and logistics. The company says the New Delhi program will include product demos, customer case studies, and sessions on “agentic AI” inside those applications. (oracle.com) Agentic AI is Oracle’s term for software agents that do more than answer prompts. In Oracle’s recent product announcements, the company said these agents can reason through a task, take actions inside a business workflow, and work within approvals, permissions, and policy controls already set in Fusion Applications. (oracle.com) That pitch has become more concrete over the past month. On March 24, Oracle announced Fusion Agentic Applications across finance, human resources, supply chain, and customer experience, and on April 9 it added separate launches for finance and supply chain and for human resources. (oracle.com, oracle.com, oracle.com) Oracle says those tools are built into the same software customers already use to run payroll, close books, approve purchases, and manage inventory. The company’s product pages say the goal is to deliver AI results inside existing screens and workflows instead of sending users to separate chat tools. (oracle.com, oracle.com) The New Delhi stop also fits into a wider Oracle push in India this year. Oracle ran a similar AI Applications Forum in Bengaluru on April 21, 2026, with the same 8:30 a.m. to 3:50 p.m. format and the same Deloitte partnership. (oracle.com) Oracle has been using India events to showcase these releases. At Oracle AI World in Mumbai on February 10, 2026, the company announced new supply chain AI agents for planning, procurement, manufacturing, maintenance, and logistics inside Fusion Applications. (oracle.com) The forum’s focus on finance, human resources, and supply chain reflects where Oracle has concentrated its latest application launches. Oracle’s April 9 statements said finance and supply chain teams are under pressure to close faster and respond to disruptions sooner, while human resources teams are using AI for scheduling, career development, and employee support. (oracle.com, oracle.com) For companies deciding whether AI in enterprise software is still a pilot project or a buying decision, Oracle is using the New Delhi event to make the case in person. The day’s message is that AI is no longer being sold as a separate tool, but as part of the software that already runs core business operations. (oracle.com, oracle.com)
