Eight Displaced by San Jose Apartment Fire

An apartment fire in San Jose on Monday afternoon has displaced eight people. The fire originated on the second floor of the building. The cause of the blaze is currently under investigation by authorities.

- The fire broke out around 4 p.m. in a two-story apartment building located in the 900 block of N. First Street. - One individual was hospitalized as a result of the fire. - The blaze appeared to start in a single unit before extending into the building's attic. - Fire crews were able to get the fire under control by 4:37 p.m. - Neighboring apartments sustained both fire and water damage. - This incident follows several other apartment fires in San Jose in the last couple of years that have displaced numerous residents, including a fire on David Avenue that displaced approximately 70 people and another on Toyon Avenue that displaced about 30.
