Oasis Nomination Rejected (Again)

Liam Gallagher has rejected Oasis's Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nomination again, sarcastically thanking non-voters [https://www.silive.com/news/2026/03/rock-icon-begs-voters-to-stop-choosing-his-band-for-rock-and-roll-hall-of-fame.html].

Gallagher has a history of publicly dismissing the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, often using colorful language. He seems to view the institution as irrelevant to his legacy and that of Oasis. His brother Noel, with whom Liam has a long-standing feud, likely has a different perspective on the nomination. The brothers' strained relationship is a major factor in the band's continued split. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony is scheduled for later this year, but it's unclear if any members of Oasis will attend. An induction without them would certainly be unusual.
