The lawsuit alleges that "Telekinesis," released on Travis Scott's "Utopia" album, infringes on copyright of the Kanye West demo "Someday". The plaintiffs, who include a producer and a songwriter, claim they co-created "Someday" with Kanye West in 2018. The suit names Travis Scott, SZA, Future, and producers BoogzDaBeast, FNZ, and Wheezy as defendants. It claims that "Telekinesis" incorporates substantial elements of "Someday" without permission. The plaintiffs are seeking damages and injunctive relief to prevent further distribution of "Telekinesis". They assert that the similarities between the two songs are striking and undeniable.
