Bangkok wins Eurovision Asia

Bangkok was confirmed as host for the inaugural Eurovision Song Contest Asia on Nov. 14, 2026 — an event that will merge music, tourism, and a big food scene spotlight for the city later this year ( ). Expect additional hospitality and culinary tie‑ins as organizers leverage Bangkok’s street food and riverside venues for festival programming (escxtra.com).

The European Broadcasting Union says it will deliver the Asia edition in partnership with production companies Voxovation and S2O Productions, with Thailand’s Channel 3 confirmed as the host broadcaster. (ebu.ch) Organisers have already listed ten participating broadcasters representing Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Nepal, the Philippines, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam for the inaugural contest. (khaosodenglish.com) Organisers have not yet published a formal venue notice, but multiple reports identify Bangkok’s IdeaLive Arena in the Bravo BKK complex as the likely site for the Grand Final. (eurovoix.com) Local reporting and fan sites note IdeaLive’s configuration estimates range from roughly 4,000 seated guests to as much as 7,000 capacity depending on setup and staging — figures organisers say may change once a production plan is finalised. (escxtra.com) The event’s promotional rollout includes an official Eurovision Asia site and a dedicated digital fan-engagement platform called ZOOP that organisers say will centralise ticketing and interactive features. (eurovisionasia.com) At least one confirmed broadcaster has scheduled national selection programming already — Nepal’s broadcaster set a selection show for September 19 — and Thailand’s Tourism Authority publicly flagged multi‑agency collaboration to support the event.
