Lucid Gravity Gets CarPlay/Android Auto

Lucid Motors is rolling out Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to Gravity SUV owners via an over-the-air update after months of delays.

The update addresses a key feature gap, as previous Lucid models lacked native CarPlay and Android Auto integration. This absence was a notable drawback for many potential buyers accustomed to smartphone integration for navigation, media, and communication. Lucid had originally promised the integration in 2025, but the rollout faced delays due to software development challenges. The company cited the complexity of integrating the systems into its existing software architecture as a primary hurdle. With the update, Gravity SUV owners can now seamlessly connect their iPhones and Android devices. This brings Lucid in line with other major automakers offering these features as standard.
