Cognizant, Google Cloud Expand AI Partnership

Cognizant announced an expanded partnership with Google Cloud to help enterprise clients deploy agentic AI systems at scale. The collaboration aims to translate AI strategies into operational, governed systems. This move signals a growing enterprise focus on moving beyond AI pilots to full-scale, automated workflow integration.

- This expanded alliance includes Cognizant's strategic investment in and deployment of Google Workspace with Gemini Enterprise internally to enhance its own productivity and delivery velocity before rolling out a combined offering to clients. - A key part of the collaboration is the establishment of a dedicated Gemini Enterprise Center of Excellence and Gemini Studios within Cognizant's Cloud AI Innovation hubs in London, Bangalore, and Plano, Texas, to help clients scale AI solutions. - The partnership has already produced tangible solutions, such as the Cognizant Autonomous Customer Engagement platform, which uses Google Cloud's AI to modernize contact centers with an AI-first approach complemented by human agents for more complex issues. - To accelerate the adoption of AI in marketing, Cognizant has partnered with Typeface, an agentic AI platform, to unify marketing workflows, from content creation to campaign optimization, integrating with existing CRM and CDP systems. - Cognizant is leveraging its Neuro AI platform, which now features multi-agent orchestration capabilities, to help enterprises in sectors like retail and finance identify and develop AI use cases for functions including dynamic pricing and fraud reduction. - For sales and marketing functions specifically, Cognizant is developing pre-built agent networks using its Neuro AI Multi-Agent Accelerator, a no-code framework designed to rapidly prototype and scale AI systems for tasks like customer retention and price optimization. - A case study highlighted that by using Gemini fine-tuned on its own data, Cognizant reduced the prep time for engineering quality audits from six hours to just one and saw a 20-point increase in its customer Net Promoter Score. - This collaboration is part of Cognizant's broader commitment to invest $1 billion in generative AI over three years, which includes training over 70,000 associates on Google Cloud's AI offerings.
