The Stand Restaurant to Open Second Silicon Valley Location

Restaurant chain The Stand is opening a new location in San Jose at 503 W. Capitol Expressway. The 3,600-square-foot restaurant, which includes an enclosed patio, will be its second in Silicon Valley. The expansion follows the success of its existing location in Santa Clara.

- The grand opening for the new San Jose location is scheduled for August 29, 2025, and will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony. To celebrate the opening, the restaurant will offer a buy-one-get-one-50%-off deal through their app until August 31, 2025. - This marks the 22nd restaurant for the family-owned chain, which was founded in Encino, California, in 2003 by Murray Wishengrad. His sons, Jason and Zachary Wishengrad, are also involved in the company's operations and culinary development. - The Stand has further expansion plans for Northern California, with reports of three to four other locations in development for the region.
