Iron Maiden Tour Lineup Announced
Iron Maiden's upcoming tour will feature support from metal heavyweights Anthrax, Megadeth, Trivium, and Evergrey, creating a massive multi-generational metal showcase. The lineup spans classic thrash, modern metal, and progressive metal acts.
- The band is currently on "The Future Past Tour," which runs into late 2024 and features a setlist centered around their most recent album, 2021's *Senjutsu*, and the 1986 classic *Somewhere In Time*. - For the first time, the "Future Past Tour" includes live performances of the fan-favorite track "Alexander the Great" from the *Somewhere in Time* album. - The North American leg of the 2024 tour features Mongolian metal band The HU as the opening act. Other support acts on the global tour have included Killswitch Engage, Lord of the Lost, and Atreyu. - Following the conclusion of their current tour, the band will embark on the "Run For Your Lives World Tour" in 2025 to celebrate their 50th anniversary. - The 50th-anniversary tour will feature a retrospective setlist, focusing on material from the band's first nine studio albums, spanning from their debut *Iron Maiden* (1980) to *Fear of the Dark* (1992). - It will also be the band's first tour without drummer Nicko McBrain, who is retiring from touring; Simon Dawson of British Lion will be his replacement. - Confirmed support acts for the 2025 anniversary tour include Halestorm, Avatar, and The Raven Age. - Frontman Bruce Dickinson is also active with a solo project, having released a new album, *The Mandrake Project*, and scheduled his own tour dates in 2024.
