Southern Comfort Restaurant Opens in Seffner

Bellies Kitchen is a family affair, run by owner Shelby Lovely alongside her brothers, Dylan Lovely and Christopher Logan. This is Lovely's first venture as an owner, but she has been working in the restaurant industry since she was 13 years old. The restaurant, located at 11204 E M.L.K JR BLVD, will aim for a "family member's house" atmosphere with its interior design and layout. It will have seating for 68 guests and operate seven days a week from 5:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. To introduce itself to the community, Bellies Kitchen will host a soft opening on March 1st from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. featuring free food, bounce houses, and other family-friendly activities. The menu will feature Southern comfort staples, including chicken and waffles and half-pound burgers. A standout dish is the "Hillbilly Skillet," which includes a mix of meats and vegetables served over home fries with cheese and topped with eggs.
