REZup V2, released on August 4, 2025, offers improved video and animation upscaling with two new machine-learning models. REZup remains structured as two plugins: Resize and Enhance. Resize is for upscaling or zooming, and Enhance refines image quality. REZup V2 has two new machine-learning models: DNN 3, a general-purpose model, and DNN 2, optimized for faces and close-ups. The models are particularly adept at 4x upscaling, transforming HD to 8K. REZup V2 also adds a built-in temporal denoise option to suppress noise during upscaling and refines color-space handling. REZup V2 supports AMD, NVIDIA, and Apple Silicon GPUs and is expected to work with Intel Arc B60 discrete GPUs. Upscaling from 1080p to 8K requires at least 8 GB of VRAM; more memory (12 GB to 96 GB) will handle higher resolutions more smoothly. REZup V2 is priced at US $189.95, with an upgrade from Version 1 at US $39.99. It is also included in RE:Vision Effects' Effections bundle.
